Fingerstyle guitarist with YouTube account Alip_Ba_Ta makes many people curious, including his admirers.

He is mysterious because in every new video that airs, the man from Ponorogo, whose real name is Alief Gustakhiyat (31), almost never talks. Just so you know, he never invites people who watch his YouTube to subscribe, comment, like and share. Never!
In fact, his skill with guitar making amazed the audience, to the point that those who promote the YouTube account Alip_Ba_Ta.

Now, his subscriber on YouTube has touched 4 million.


TribunJakarta.com successfully interviewed specifically Alip Ba Ta fingerstyle, as he is usually called by his fans, at his workplace in the Cakung area, East Jakarta, Friday (30/8/2019).

Netizens flooded the comments column on Alip Ba Ta's YouTube account with praise.
Not a few, famous musicians from the country to the international praised his ability.

Call it Dewa Budjana, Fun Two, Alexandr Misko, Uncle Igor, to Avenged Sevenfold guitarist Synyster Gates. In fact, the virtual world for Alief feels strange because his daily life is far from it.

Because, at that time he was a truck driver who spent a lot of time wrestling on the highway.
Even a simple cellphone is enough for Alief when on the move outside.

As time went on, Alief had moved to work as a foreklift operator at a company in the East Jakarta area. When he had enough money from his job, he finally bought an android phone in 2018.
From the encouragement of many people around him, Alief uploaded his actions into cyberspace.

Starting from Facebook

Starting from his Facebook account which was created in 2018, Alief uploaded many of his performances playing guitar with songs of his own choice.

"At first, just for fun recording using a cellphone at a rented house after work. I still remember the song I played, Super Mario Bros," Alief told TribunJakarta.com at his place of work, East Jakarta, on Friday (30/8/2019) .
Apparently, the response of netizens who saw him playing the guitar in an instant increased.

"It turned out that the response was extraordinary. I was shocked, I just played guitar just like that. Everyone can do it," he recalled, surprised. Not a few comments asked him to create a YouTube account.
In addition to many who appreciate it, YouTube can also make money coffers every month.

He finally created a YouTube account Alip_Ba_Ta.

Actually, Alief's initial goal for the account was just to channel his hobby of playing guitar.
The profits from YouTube followed suit without it being ambitious to catch up.

"When I created YouTube, then posted my first song Along Jalan Kenangan, from there my subscribers grew," he continued.

Within a month, Alief's subscribers reach a thousand subscribers.
He was surprised by the enthusiasm of netizens who saw his YouTube account.

"I was surprised how enthusiastic they were. Even though I never asked to be submitted or liked. Just for fun, I just ran away," he said.
With the enthusiasm of netizens who saw and gave positive responses, Alief became even more excited to continue working on his account.

Being a fingerstyle guitarist, continued Alief, is a coincidence.
Previously, he often scrutinized his own guitar notes without knowing what fingerstyle was.

He has a hobby of picking his own tone since he was a child.

"I taught myself how to play the guitar like that. I accidentally turned out to have a flow called fingerstyle. It was a coincidence. Indeed, I have always liked playing guitar with this technique," he explained.

Not only often posting to the flood of praise by netizens, Alief also wants to inspire fellow fingerstyle guitarists, especially young people.

Alief joined a forum for fingerstyle activists on Facebook.
There he saw many young people joining in.
He hopes that his ability can have an impact on these young people.

"With my frequent posting of strange songs with my own harmony it can broaden their horizons. From my guitar playing, I hope there will be new colors," he said.

Since appearing in cyberspace, the world's attention has been stolen by Alief's guitar skill, which he simply presented in his rented house.
