Alip Ba Expert in Automotive World
Besides being good at playing guitar, this is proof of the brilliance of Alip Ba Ta in the automotive world.
Alief Gustakhiyat or commonly known as Alip Ba Ta is a Youtuber who is widely known for his astonishing ability when he plays guitar.
Not infrequently, some of his videos have succeeded in attracting admiration from overseas Youtube viewers.
However, this fingerstyle guitarist from Ponorogo, East Java is not only there. The 31-year-old man seems to be quite an expert on the ins and outs of the automotive world.
In a video on Youtube, Alief apparently criticized a motorcycle project with electric fuel.
The video, uploaded in 2016 by one of the channels belonging to the country's private television, shows a prototype motorbike designed by SMK children in Jember.
The motorbike is claimed to be able to run for 8 hours with 1/2 liter of fuel spiked with lye. This motorbike can go up to 40 km / hour.
This motor is designed with a variety of used materials, such as aluminum pipe from a television antenna that functions as a water storage generator tube.
How is the working system of this motorbike? Water that has been spiked with lye, then supplied with an electric voltage of 12 volts until it boils and produces steam. To be optimal, the part is filtered. This water vapor drives the carburetor.
Not all water can be used. In the video, it states that the liquid that can be used must have a low acid content.
Regarding this, Alip admitted that he had tried a similar project, but there were several obstacles.
"Technically it will not be effective, it will definitely come up short, like 'the size of a stake rather than a pole'," he wrote.
"Standard motor generators are usually able to supply currents in the range 3.5 A - 9 A. Now, while the battery used in the motorbike uses a 35 A car battery for the hydrolysis process (breaking H2O into H2 + O2). How much do you make the enamel coil so you can supply 35 A of current? Even if you want to modify it using an ampere dynamo, a car is definitely impossible, because the motorbike only has 1 cylinder, it won't be strong ... "
"Even if, for example, he succeeds in making such a large electric generator on a motorcycle, the electrical energy should be used directly for the power of an electric motorbike player, more efficient and certainly no exhaust gas (zero emissions) ... & 1 more thing: the hydrolysis process. like this is very dangerous, because hydrogen gas is very wild, colorless, odorless, the explosion is exsplosive (the explosion is very fast), if at high RPM & there is a "fire back" the hydrolysis tube can explode & wasallam sodara-brothers .. 2009 - 2010 my workshop colleagues and I did this research, " said Alip Ba Ta.
